Developer SkyWorld Development (SkyWorld) was named World Gold Winner in the affordable housing category for its SkyAwani 2 Residences at the FIABCI World Prix d’Excellence Awards 2023. 

The International Real Estate Federation (Fiabci) organised the ceremony in Miami, United States. With the award, SkyWorld demonstrated the SkyAwani 2 Residences’ on the global stage as a well-crafted sustainable housing solution.

The project is part of SkyWorld’s Awani series, which aims to offer affordable homes to Malaysians under the Residensi Wilayah programme. The development achieved a Quality Assessment System in Construction (Qlassic) score of 79%, the highest rating within Malaysia’s Residensi Wilayah category.

“We are humbled by this internationally renowned mark of excellence, which stood out against other equally outstanding projects by distinguished property developers from across the globe. This international recognition is a testament to the strength of our products in meeting the aspirations of homeowners, property buyers and the communities of today,” SkyWorld chief executive officer Lee Chee Seng said.
