Grand Global’s Grand Damansara Lifestyle Suites tower in PJ 75% taken-up since official launch

KUALA LUMPUR (Oct 25): Property developer Grand Global Heights Development Sdn Bhd’s Grand Damansara mixed development in Petaling Jaya has achieved a 75% take-up rate for its Lifestyle Suites tower since the office component’s official launch last weekend (Oct 21 and 22), according to a press release issued on Tuesday.
With a gross development value (GDV) of RM200 million, the Lifestyle Suites tower comprises 651 small office units and priced from RM240,000. The units come in three types of layout — studio suite (273 sq ft), dual-key suite (469 sq ft) and executive suite (471 sq ft).
Sitting on a 2.76-acre leasehold land in Kayu Ara and located next to the Sprint Highway, the Grand Damansara development comprises two towers — Lifestyle Suites and Residential Suites, and a two-storey retail podium.
“The rapid take-up of our Lifestyle Suites is a result of our comprehensive understanding of today’s property market and the evolving needs of both property investors, and the lifestyle needs of young people. We have fused design innovation with practicality, supported by an attractive price, ensuring our residents experience the best of convenience and affordability,” said Grand Global Heights Development Sdn Bhd executive director Song Chin Yew.
Launched in August, the Residential Suites tower, comprising 330 serviced apartment units, is 60% taken-up. The units, with built-ups of 471 to 936 sq ft, are priced from RM435,800. As for the retail podium, there are 22 retail lots with built-ups of 850 to 4,037 sq ft priced from RM1.02 million to RM8.07 million.
According to the developer, the target buyers of the Lifestyle Suites are investors and single individuals due to the compact unit sizes, while the Residential Suites are more suitable for families as the units offer spacious layouts.
There are 28 facilities at Grand Damansara shared by both towers such as a swimming pool, jacuzzi, children’s playground and communal kitchen.
The development neighbours areas like Taman Tun Dr Ismail, Mont Kiara and shopping malls such as the 1Utama Shopping Centre and The Curve. Additionally, Grand Damansara residents will be able to access the Kayu Ara LRT Station via a 500m pedestrian linkway.
According to the press release, the developer has also collaborated with local short-stay management platform HostAStay to provide Lifestyle Suites’ owners with added convenience in terms of rental investment.
“The collaboration with HostAStay adds another layer to Grand Damansara Lifestyle Suites’ value proposition. Participating buyers that opt into this programme allow their units to be outfitted with a furniture package tailored for space efficiency and comfort,” said Song.
“HostAStay specialises in helping property owners convert vacant properties into income-generating assets. This is an ideal situation for buyers who may not have the time or experience to manage their property rentals. HostAStay’s services can help ensure that the property is utilised efficiently,” he added.
