RM4.8bil worth of properties up for grabs at Mapex Selangor
PETALING JAYA: Over 9,000 residential units worth over RM4.8bil is up for grabs at the Malaysian Properties Expo (Mapex) Selangor 2024 which will be held at Pavilion Bukit Jalil from April 26 to 28, 2024.
Organised by the Real Estate and Housing Developers’ Association Selangor branch. its chairman Datuk Zaini Yusoff said this year’s iteration promises an unparalleled platform for industry pioneers, investors and homebuyers to delve into the future of real estate.
“Mapex Selangor 2024 transcends the conventional bounds of an exhibition; it’s a crucible of innovation, a nexus of collaboration, and a catalyst for growth. Whether you’re a seasoned investor or a first-time homebuyer, this event is your gateway to unparalleled insights, connections, and opportunities that shape the future of property investment,” he said.
From affordable housing developments to high-end condominiums, Zaini said the prices would range from RM250,000 to RM2.5mil, with some projects that are under the Lembaga Perumahan dan Hartanah Selangor going for less than RM250,000.
Apart from the special packages, offers and discounts offered during the three days, there will also be property talks, providing vital information on the industry including market trends, investment strategies and sustainable development practices. Attendees will have the privilege to glean wisdom from knowledgeable speakers who have years of real estate experience.
Zaini hoped to see over RM300mil worth of residential, commercial, office and industrial real estate being transacted over the three days of the event based on past experience from previous events.
Rehda Selangor secretary Loo Chee Yang also thanked sponsors Nippon Paint (M) Sdn Bhd, Affin Bank Bhd and White Horse Ceramic Industries Sdn Bhd for their support in orchestrating the event.
The opening of Mapex Selangor 2024 will be graced by Selangor State housing and culture committee chairman Borhan Aman Shah, added Zaini, pointout that the participating property developers include Chin Hin Group Bhd, Glomac Bhd, Hillcrest Gardens Sdn Bhd, Huges Development Sdn Bhd, JRK Group, KLK Land Bhd, Mah Sing Group Bhd, Malton Bhd, Platinum Victory Development Sdn Bhd, Trinity Group Sdn Bhd and UEM Sunrise Bhd. The event will run from 10am to 10pm and admission is free.
Meanwhile, Rehda Selangor assistant secretary Shanaz A Muztaza reminded that the Selangor branch would also be hosting its Housing Conference, held once every two years, on October 10, 2024.
