Gagasan Nadi Cergas launches Idaman Amani affordable homes at City of Elmina

KUALA LUMPUR (May 13): Gagasan Nadi Cergas Bhd (KL:NADIBHD) launched its latest affordable housing project named Idaman Amani in the City of Elmina, Selangor on May 11 (Saturday) in conjunction with the opening of the Gagasan Nadi Cergas’ Galeri Idaman sales gallery at Kwasa Damansara, according to a press statement on Monday.
With a gross development value (GDV) of RM286 million and spread across an 8.9-acre freehold tract, Idaman Amani will comprise two 32-storey towers, with a total of 1,063 apartments combined. These units will have built-up sizes of 1,000 and 1,120 sq ft with selling prices starting from RM250,000. The units will also be semi-furnished with a television, refrigerator, kitchen cabinets, closets, water heaters and air-conditioners.
The statement on Monday stated that Idaman Amani is developed by the developer in collaboration with City of Elmina’s master developer Sime Darby Property Bhd (KL:SIMEPROP) and the Selangor state government. The project is expected to be completed by 3Q2028.
Gagasan Nadi Cergas group managing director Wan Azman Wan Kamal said in the statement, “Gagasan Nadi Cergas is pleased to collaborate once again with the Selangor state government to develop yet another landmark affordable housing project to meet the growing demand for affordable housing in Greater Kuala Lumpur.
“The group will build on the property development segment’s momentum following the successful completion and delivery of Antara Residence and Selindung Ulu Yam, as well as the steady progress of our ongoing Idaman Bukit Jelutong and Idaman Kwasa Damansara projects. Our emphasis on creating well-designed, modern, and affordable living spaces will make Gagasan Nadi Cergas a trusted brand among homebuyers and enhance the quality of life for future generations.”
Idaman Amani is part of the developer’s overall plan to deliver 14,000 affordable homes worth RM3.6 billion in GDV over the next eight years in Greater Kuala Lumpur. The statement said the project aims to complement the government’s efforts to bolster homeownership among B40 (Bottom 40% income group) and M40 (Middle 40% income group) Malaysians.
