KUALA LUMPUR: Beverly Group has officially partnered with Parktech Solutions to introduce a cutting-edge automated car parking system (ACPS) at Milla Residence in Quartz Wangsa Maju. The strategic partnership was formalised between Beverly Group and Samjung Tech Co Ltd during a signing ceremony at the Milla Residence Sales Gallery.

Key figures present included Beverly Group chief executive officer (CEO) Derick Lim, president, Samjung Tech CEO Choi Jong Wan and Parktech Solutions Sdn Bhd managing director Yow Kai Yong. Serving as witnesses were Natural Resources, Environment and Climate Change Minister Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad together with Maybank commercial banking managing director Jason Wong.

The ACPS, the first of its kind in the region, aims to transform the urban parking experience by streamlining operations and lowering carbon emissions. Developed by the South Korean leader Samjung Tech, this system is expected to be one of the largest ACPS installations in the Asean region. It features 2,358 parking bays and 21 car lifts, significantly enhancing convenience and sustainability for the residents of Milla Residence.

This aligns with Malaysia’s Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) objectives and Green Building Index (GBI) standards. By minimising the time and fuel spent searching for parking, the system reduces idle emissions by up to 30% and conserves land through its vertical design.

“This collaboration between Beverly Group and Samjung Tech on the Automated Car Parking System (ACPS) at Milla Residence is a significant step toward Malaysia’s sustainability goals. As we focus on reducing carbon emissions and fostering eco-friendly urban developments, initiatives like this exemplify how technology can create a greener and healthier living environment. I commend Beverly Group for their commitment to sustainable urban spaces that support our nation’s dedication to a cleaner future,” said Nik Nazmi.

“Our goal is not just to add value. We aim to redefine sustainable living. Our partnership with Samjung Tech showcases how advanced technology can enhance convenience and contribute to our environmental objectives.” He highlighted Milla Residence’s support for the EkoSetiawangsa initiative, which aspires to turn Setiawangsa into an ‘urban eco-district.’ The ACPS and other sustainable features exemplify Beverly Group’s commitment to eco-friendly urban development, starting with Milla Residence,” shared Lim.

“At Samjung Tech, we prioritise not just providing advanced technology but ensuring its success from day one and in the long term. Our system for Milla Residence is specifically tailored to balance modernity and reliability. We are conducting additional test runs to guarantee smooth operations and our engineers will be on-site post-commissioning to optimise performance. Our dedicated Customer Satisfaction team in Malaysia will conduct monthly inspections to ensure everything runs seamlessly, offering residents peace of mind,” added Choi.

The ACPS technology facilitates a hassle-free experience for residents and visitors, allowing them to park at designated entry points, turn off their engines and walk away. The automated system then handles vehicle storage and retrieval, simplifying the parking process and creating a safer environment by reducing human interaction in parking areas.

To promote eco-friendly living, Beverly Group is collaborating with Maybank on Green Home Financing for Milla Residence. This financing option covers up to 95% of the home’s purchase price, plus an additional 5% for related costs such as credit insurance, takaful, legal fees, valuations and stamp duties. Specifically designed for certified green home developments, Maybank’s Green Home Financing aims to support Malaysians in their journey toward sustainable living and encourage investment in eco-conscious housing.
