Phase one of KL Wellness City mixed-use development in Bukit Jalil is 40% completed
Launched in May this year, phase one of KL Wellness City comprises KL International Tertiary Hospital (KLIH) and The Nobel Healthcare Park. Overall, phase one has a gross development value of RM900 million.
KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 25): The first phase of the 26.5-acre KL Wellness City mixed-use development in Bukit Jalil is 40% completed, said KL Wellness City executive director of branding, sales and marketing Datuk Seri Vincent Tiew at a press conference at KL Wellness City Gallery on Monday.
Launched in May this year, phase one of KL Wellness City comprises KL International Tertiary Hospital (KLIH) and The Nobel Healthcare Park. Overall, phase one has a gross development value of RM900 million.
“Our phase one is over 40% [completed]. Our construction is ahead of the scheduled time. We anticipate that both developments [KLIH and The Nobel Healthcare Park] will be fully completed by the first quarter of 2026,” said Tiew.
KLIH will comprise 25 operating theatres and 645 beds (with a capacity of up to 1,000 beds). For The Nobel Healthcare Park, it consists of 379 medical suites for medical practitioners, 41 business suites for healthcare-related companies, as well as 512 wellness suites (smaller residential units).
Meanwhile, the developer signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with CISW Holdings Group Co Ltd, a Thai company that promotes healthcare services by bridging customers and healthcare providers and companies through exhibitions and conferences. The MOU entails the invitation of Tiew to be part of the keynote speakers of Top Global Wellness Summit in 2025.
The summit, to be held by CISW Holdings Group on June 11 to 14, 2025 at InterContinental Hotel, Bangkok, will have programmes such as workshops, business matching, site visits, academic training and networking opportunities.
