KUALA LUMPUR (Feb 12): Construction outfit Binastra Corp Bhd (KL:BNASTRA) has bagged a RM250.37 million contract to build a six-storey data centre in Cyberjaya, Selangor for AIMS Group, which is owned by New York-listed DigitalBridge Group Inc.
In a filing with Bursa Malaysia on Wednesday, Binastra said its wholly owned subsidiary Binastra Builders Sdn Bhd has accepted a letter of award from MYT DC3 Sdn Bhd for the proposed project.
Construction is set to commence on Feb 26, with a phased completion timeline ranging from June 15 and Dec 15.
In a separate statement, Binastra said this contract represents its first accomplishment for the new financial year ending Jan 31, 2026 (FY2026). The contract is expected to provide an additional income stream for the group during the financial year, it added.

The new data centre project brings the group’s total secured data-centre contracts value to RM1.24 billion.
At noon market break on Wednesday, Binastra shares closed up two sen or 1.08% at RM1.87, with 237,600 shares traded. The counter has surged 175% over the past 12 months.
